Frances Hogan on the Divine Will…

I have been listening to the teachings on the Divine Will by Frances Hogan and find them immensely edifying. All the more since they were recorded in 2020, and she makes reference to the current situation in the Church and the world.

I started by listening to her teachings on Volume 12. Fr. Robert Young often said that Volume 12 contains a lot of key teachings on how to live in the Divine Will. The writings are so rich, and Frances provides numerous scriptural references for the text. I also like that she highlights the VIPs (Very Important Passages) for us.

I have listened to her Volume 12 talks 1-5, 10 and 11. This excerpt from Volume 12 is discussed in her #10 talk. It is a direct prophecy of our times, and her comments are enlightening.

October 16, 1918 [The passage ends with this paragraph.]

Now I want to tell you something consoling. Italy and France now lose, while Germany wins. All nations have some black stains, and all of them deserve humiliations and crushings. There will be a general uproar – confusion everywhere. I will renew the world with the sword, with fire and with water, with sudden deaths, and with contagious diseases. I will make new things. The nations will form a sort of tower of Babel; they will reach the point of being unable to understand one another; the peoples will revolt among themselves; they will no longer want kings. All will be humiliated, and peace will come only from Me. And if you hear them say ‘peace’, that will not be true, but apparent. Once I have purged everything, I will place my finger in a surprising way, and I will give the true Peace. Then, all those who are humiliated will return to Me. Germany will be Catholic; I have great designs upon for her. England, Russia, and all the places where blood has been shed, will rise again to Faith, and will be incorporated into my Church. There will be great triumph and union among peoples. Therefore, pray – and it takes patience, because this will not be so soon, but it will take time.” (Luisa Piccarreta, Book of Heaven, October 16, 1918)

One thing Frances said (I think it’s in Volume 12, talk 1 or 3) that Jesus told her personally that in the time to come we would need to trust him “beyond reason”. That can sound scary but what it means is that we can ask the impossible. In Luisa’s writings, the word often used is “impetrate”, which means “successfully implore”. Let us not hesitate, in the Divine Will, to impetrate Jesus for anything we need, but especially for the salvation of souls!

I thank God for Frances Hogan and all those who unfold the rich layers of the writings for the rest of us. I don’t know about you, but I seem to perpetually feel like a beginner! Thankfully, Jesus tells Luisa often that if we are sincere in our desire to receive the Gift, he will make up for what we lack and, I might add, we will never know the difference.

Let’s keep reminding ourselves that we were made for these times, dear friends. The same God who parted the Red Sea, the same Jesus who walked on water, the same Holy Spirit who worked miracles in the early Church will be with us. Fiat!

Thank you Jesus! God be praised!

  1. Certainly, “we were made for these times”.

“Whoever has ears ought to hear. To what shall I compare this generation? It is like children who sit in marketplaces and call to one another, ‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance, we sang a dirge but you did not mourn’.” Matthew 11,15-17

  2. I found the segment that you mention Janet: Frances talks about trusting beyond reason in talk 1 (at 24 minutes). She also says right afterwards that “we knew” that chastisements would start in 2020. Do you know if knew this from her own prayer or prophetic knowledge, or from Luisa’s writings?

Wonderful talks by Frances, thank you for sharing.

    • Thanks Andree. Yes, I actually listened to that again yesterday. I have no idea how she knows it’s in 2020, it must have been a prophetic word but maybe someone else’s as she attends a lot of conferences. We’ll know soon enough!

  3. Thank you Janet for the link to Frances Hogan’s teachings on Divine Will, as I was looking for it and could not find it. She said something very interesting in Book I, that this is for those who are ready to enter into the more advance spiritual journey. I have encouraged a great many of my friends into the Divine Will, but have met resistance. It’s possible that it is too advance for them, so I will leave them alone for the time being. But I am glad that your forum is ready to go into the deep. I have already listened to Fr. Robert Young introductory tapes, and I got a lot out of them. He was so good.

    • I think everyone who has tried to spread the message of the Divine Will has had the same experience. Blank stare. “Glad you have found something that speaks to you.” Then there are those whose eyes light up when you begin to tell them about it, and can’t get enough. Those are the ones God has called.

It is very advanced, but the mistake is to think you have to understand it to begin. We will never understand it completely even in eternity. It is a journey ever deeper into the heart of God which is infinite. But we need not be intimidated. As he did with Luisa, God gives us lights as we go deeper.

Fr. Celso comments on those who do not wish to hear about it. He says, “You do it FOR them!” That is the beauty of the Divine Will, we do everything for all souls past, present, and future. We don’t understand it, feel it or see it. God does it all. We just have to keep doing everything in the DW in the name of all souls PPF and leave the results to him. 🙂 Fiat!

Interesting that your comment came the day after I put up a new website. 🙂 We have just started a brand new DW group in my Archdiocese having recently received permission to do so. Praise God! Fiat! I think God wishes to use the site as an introduction to the DW. However, I still have a lot of work to do to add resources, etc. But have a look. It is live now. Fiat!
